A growing season which was warm and dry, which allowed for gradual and full flavor development for perfectly ripened Sangiovese. Maximum flavor expression as defined by the power of the fruit and the significant purity and depth it offers.
Bright plum red, aromas of crushed berries and plums intermix with aromas of earth and porcini mushrooms. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied with bright acidity and low tannins, yet wonderfully balanced.
Sangiovese 92%, Cabernet Sauvignon 8%. The Chianti Classico
Riserva is made using selected grapes from the vineyards situated in Villa a
Sesta, Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the province of Siena.
