91 points - James Halliday - From cool climate Vic vineyards, including the home vineyard, a short cold soak before open fermentation. In that polished, elegant, medium-bodied style that is the mark of Langi Ghiran, the price causing me to blink not once but twice. It is a joyously juicy blend of red and black fruits, a terrific bistro wine by the glass - but best buy a bottle, for it'll be gone in a flash.
91 points - Vinous - Lurid ruby. Fresh blueberry, potpourri and a hint of vanilla on the intensely perfumed nose. Shows very good depth and focus to its juicy red and blue fruit flavors, with no excess fat. Round, even tannins lend shape to a very long, smooth, spice-tinged finish that leaves notes of cherry and mint behind. This Shiraz delivers outstanding value.
90 points - James Suckling - A bright and spicy rendition of cooler-climate shiraz, which has a core of brambly mulberries, red plums and blacker fruit. The tannins grip gently.
