My name is Pete Fucinaro, and I am a saxophonist, composer, and educator based in Kansas City, where I play music and teach professionally. I am a native of Omaha, NE and attended the University of North Texas, where I performed with the One O’clock Lab Band and performed in the Dallas/Fort Worth area regularly. I also played at Steve's Wine Bar before I left Denton!
I am currently on tour with my trio (Pete Fucinaro Trio) from Kansas City. We play original compositions as well as music from the standard jazz repertoire. Our music seeks to present contemporary musical ideas within a standard format while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of the jazz style.
