Join drummer Isaac LaVigne for a special farewell performance at Steve’s Wine Bar before he moves to New York City to pursue his jazz career.
The evening begins with a trio set featuring Isaac D. Byrd on piano and Blake Aldridge on bass, offering personal reinterpretations of compositions by Cedar Walton, Thelonious Monk, and Horace Silver—treating these pieces as stories told through the trio’s collective voice. The night continues with featured segments alongside tenor saxophonist Matt Garcia and vocalist Marisa Cravero, exploring expressive repertoire including works by Ella Fitzgerald, Betty Carter, and Lee Morgan. Denton has been a second home filled with lasting memories, and this evening is a chance to celebrate, reflect, and send Isaac off with love and swing. Reservations for this event are $15 per person. To help support the group, the price will go to $20 on the day of the performance.
