Friday, August 15th, the DJ Rice Quintet returns to Steve's Wine Bar with a new set of music. Described as an amalgamation of J.J. Johnson and Curtis Fuller, Dallas-based musician DJ Rice is an elite, award-winning jazz trombonist and composer. With the mentorship of Nick Finzer, Michael Dease, and Rich DeRosa, he creates opportunities for himself and consistently sets a high musical standard for those around him.
Joining him will be Jack Courtright - Trombone, Min Rojas - Piano, Anthony Casolari - Bass, Colman Burks - Drums
