South America Review - Wine Tasting

A special evening of wine tasting and stories from South America.
March 3 - 18, 2025, Steve and Karen traveled to South America to visit several wineries and learn more about the region, wines, food, and more. Joining them in Chile were Jay and Shelly Warner, and Kyle and Tammy Gabhardt. We visited 4 wineries in Chile, followed by 7 in Mendoza, Argentina. We spent time in Curicó, Chile, Santiago, Mendoza, and Buenos Aires over our 14 days in the region.
During this evening's gathering, we will enjoy wines from several of the wineries we visited. Everywhere we went in Chile and Argentina, empanadas were on the menu. We have found a nice restaurant just south of us in Flower Mound that makes some wonderful Latin-style empanadas, and we will have those available to enjoy during the discussion.
We will have pictures on the TV screens, and stories and discussions about our travels.

Wine tasting of six wines can be reserved in advance for $30 a person ($20 for wine club members). You are welcome to join us without a reservation for the wine tasting. We will have wine by the glass and by the bottle, and a list of other wines from the wineries we visited that you may want to consider ordering to take home.
As we will pre-order empanadas, we will have them priced at $12 for two. We will have one beef empanada and one corn, or one beef and one cheese. Please place your order in advance to make sure we have enough for you to enjoy during the tasting.
