Top 10 (Really 11) Wines of the Year!

Veuve Olivier Sparkling Rosé

Our best selling wine of the year is as such because we have one amazing customer who loves this wine and orders it every time she comes in (by the eay, did you know that you can get with us and we can have your favorite wine for you stocked and ready for you whenever you come in?!). This sparkling is crisp and light with tangy red fruits and gogeous bubbles.

Opolo Cabernet Sauvignon

It should come as no surprise that this is a perennial favorite of Steve and Karen's as well as practically every customer. It was also our best selling by the glass wine. It is a bold oaky dream with dark fruits like blackberry and blueberry, plus cherry liqueur, herbs and vanilla bean spices. Yum!

Grant Burge 'Ink' Cabernet Sauvignon

This was a runaway hit on our wine club. Hailing from Australia but sourcing Paso Robles fruit, this Cab is simply a crowd-pleaser. A touch of Petite Sirah makes this Cab even better, culminating in candied red cherry, black currant, blackberry, dark chocolate, and cinnamon.

Caymus-Suisun 'The Walking Fool'

A blend of Petite Sirah and Zinfandel, this has been a favorite ever since we put it on our club way back in early 2023. We love that it's a woman-run winery! You won't be a fool to grab some of this mouth-pleasing wine with juicy raspberry, notes of espresso and softly fine tannins. It was also our 3rd most popular by the glass choice!

  Airfield Viognier

We added this as a club wine in May, 2025, and just when I think we need to move on to a different white by the glass, my staff and several customers plead with me to not take it off! Ask about the story of its name as you sip on a glass rife  spiced applesauce, pear, ripe banana, butterscotch, brioche, and cashew.

Lyla & Kennedy Rosé

This rosé, aged for two months in oak, has been a mainstay for us. Alas, earlier this year, I was told we couldn't get it anymore, and we are down to our last 10 bottles or so of it in the bar. Light but with some body from time in the barrel, this wine is special and with a gorgeous bottle and glass top. Notes of cranberry, raspberry, grapefruit, lemon, and lychee finish with a faint touch of smoke.

 Piattelli ‘Trinitá’ Grand Reserve Red

Everybody who has this special Argentinian wine loves it. Crafted mostly of Malbec but rounded out by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this blend celebrates some of the best regions of Mendoza, Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. Count the seconds on the finish because you will still be tasting raspberry, plums and black fruits, hints of chocolate, and a hint of eucalyptus.

Old Soul Chardonnay

We put this amazing white on our club way back in January, 2025, and man, people have loved it. Don't say you are not a Chardonnay fan until you have had this, a wonderfully balanced white with not too much butter. Traits of white peach and apricot evolve to pineapple and green apple. The oak aging on this wine lends a luscious vanilla note on the finish.

Bouchard Aîné & Fils Pinot Noir

France certainly knows how to make a delectable Pinot Noir, and this rendition has been sourced from regions in Burgundy, like Côte Chalonnaise, Côte de Beaune, and, to a smaller extent, in Côte de Nuits, along with cool-climate parcels throughout the country. It's appraochable and food-friendly, with characteristics of raspberry, cherry, blackberry, subtle chocolate, and a kiss of menthol.

  Goosecross Napa Red Blend

Not only does the winery have a fantastic story about a family of geese choosing their estate as a place to make home, but I also fell in love with this wine not knowing Steve and Karen has been members of Goosecross years ago! We are down to only a few bottles of this fun but highly pedigreed wine; it will delight you with blackcurrant, black plum, boysenberry, cinnamon stick, cedar, mocha, and vanilla bean.

And one more for good measure!

Contarini Prosecco Superiore Brut

Just in time for New Year's Eve, this favorite bubbles has been a smash both by the glass and by the number of bottle purchases. Coming from one of the best regions for Prosecco, this 'Superiore' has beautiful perlage, plus aromas of acacia flowers. The palate is delicate and pleasantly fruity and with a touch of apple and mineral. Cheers!

We cannot wait to see what the favorites of 2026 will be!
